Hey everyone, I'm Amika, your QPSA Research Representative for 2026!
For the first time in QPSA, I’m excited to be your Research Representative! As a Research Representative, my role is to connect students with research opportunities and inspire them to explore how pharmacy relates to research. Starting with curiosity and getting involved in research projects, I found that it gave me experiences that were very different from what we learnt in the classroom. I hope to introduce and share research opportunities - including initiatives from NAPSA - and organise events where students can explore more about research pathways. Equity and Diversity Representative

Hey everyone, I'm Rosie, your QPSA Equity and Diversity Representative for 2026!
I am honoured to be your Equity and Diversity Representative in 2026. I love animals, travelling, and going to gigs. Outside of uni, you can find me doing one of my many hobbies or maybe doomscrolling. As a die hard feminist I understand the importance of taking an intersectional approach in advocating for equity, and while I cannot dismantle systems, I can promise to always back you. I have a straightforward, get-things-done work style, and am not afraid to acknowledge that it is the unfortunate reality that we exist within a social and political climate in which the weaponisation of minorities and oppressed groups has become all too common. I believe it is now more important than ever for QPSA to solidify its stance on anti-hate and inclusion, not just through words, but actions too, and in doing so, strive for a safe and nurturing learning environment that sets us all up for success.

We will also advocate on your behalf at our semesterly meetings with the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, so if you have any feedback regarding the coursework or anything else uni related, please let us know and we will ensure your concerns are appropriately voiced. If you see us around campus please don't hesitate to say hi. With the end of our degree in sight, let’s make our final year one to remember!
