PHARMACY AWARENESS REPRESENTATIVES

Jess Hawula & Eilis - 2018

Picture
Hi, my name is Jessica Hawula and I am one of two Pharmacy Awareness (PA) Representatives this year. I am a third-year student and have been apart of QPSA since my first year however 2018 is my first year on the committee. Working alongside Eilìs this year, we organise Industry Awareness Day,
engaging students with industry professionals. We coordinate NAPSA’s Charity Cup, bringing you heaps of cool fundraisers. Our final events are NAPSA’s Blood Drive (Vampire Cup) and Pharmacy Awareness Month where we help the Red Cross with blood donations and promote all things
pharmacy to the wider community. If you have any questions regarding our role as PA representatives I would be happy to meet up and discuss.

Make sure you watch out for all the announcements on all of these great opportunities by liking QPSA on facebook. If you have any questions or would like to get involved and help us out, please send us an e-mail or come and talk to us if you see us around St. Lucia or PACE. Wish you all a great year! pharmacyawareness@qpsa.com.au

Pharmacy Awareness Initiatives and About the Role

About Charity Cup

Charity Cup is an annual challenge set by the National Australian Pharmacy Students' Association (NAPSA) where we compete against the other pharmacy student associations from the different Universities around Australia to see who can raise the most money for a nominated charity. In 2017 our charity is Livin'.

Pharmacy Awareness Month (PAM)

As a NAPSA branch, QPSA also participates in the annual Pharmacy Awareness Month (PAM) through a range of campaigns. Stay tuned for our initiatives in Semester 2, 2017 and to find out how you can be involved.

Industry Awareness Day

Industry Awareness Day is a mini trade hall designed to link students with pharmacy professionals and the knowledge they can provide. We bring representatives from companies such as Mylan, PSA and The Guild to you!
