Reconciliation
The Queensland Pharmacy Students' Association acknowledges and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as First Australians. We value and celebrate the uniqueness of knowledges, cultures, histories and languages that have been created and shared for at least 65,000 years.
NAIDOC Week was celebrated this year on 8-15th November, with the theme being Always Was, Always Will Be. This theme recognised that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. It acknowledges that hundreds of Nations and our cultures covered this continent. All were managing the land - the biggest estate on earth - to sustainably provide for their future (From the official NAIDOC Week website).
