President - Keira Higgins
Hello! My name is Keira, and it is my honour and privilege to be your President in 2024.
I am about to enter the third year of my pharmacy degree, and I am super excited to see what's in store. I cannot wait to jump into the second half of my degree, and share both amazing memories and experiences with all of you.
While studying, working and coordinating all things QPSA throughout the year, you will seldom see me without a coffee in hand and stopping three hundred times on my way to class for a chat.
So, if you see me, please come over and say hi! Outside of QPSA, I love to travel; I picked up the most severe case of the travel bug when living in Hong Kong and there isn't a cure yet (and I hope there never is!). I also almost always have multiple craft projects on the go at any one time. I love making anything and everything!
I am beyond excited to be working with a fabulous committee in 2024, and I can't wait to unveil the incredible events, merchandise, and opportunities that they have been tireless planning for all of our members. Please stay tuned over the next few weeks to meet the wonderful 2024 QPSA team!

Secretary - Hunter Alker
Hi, I’m Hunter and I’m excited to be your secretary for 2023!
When I’m not studying at uni or working, I love hanging out with my friends, going for walks, annoying my cat or just chilling at home enjoying a good book, show or game.
Being part of QPSA the last few years has been heaps of fun! I have gotten to meet a lot of cool, new people and become much more connected to the pharmacy community. I have had a bunch of great experiences so far and hope to have even more next year!
Together with the rest of the team, I hope to help make 2024 an even better year for QPSA and make the most of the role!

Treasurer - Benjamin Scott
Hiya - I’m Ben!
I will be taking on the role of QPSA Treasurer for 2024. During my term I will be very focused on ensuring QPSA events and merchandise alike are affordable for our students amongst an increasing cost of living.
I currently work two jobs: as a pharmacy student and personal banker.
Alongside pharmacy I am also a language student majoring in French. I like olives, pineapple on pizza, fiction novels and iced long blacks. These holidays I am keen to escape the Queensland heat (I am not a summer person) and spend some time down in Tazzie for NAPSA Congress 2024.

Internal Comms - Shelton Engelbrecht
Hello - my name is Shelton Engelbrecht, sending the warmest of welcomes to all within the QPSA family. I firstly wanted to express my gratitude to all of the fantastic QPSA members who have come before me, paving the way for greater milestones to be reached each and every year. Due to their fantastic work we will be able to make this year like no other; allowing for nothing but the best for each and every QPSA member.
But before we start on the fantastic year ahead of us - we first have to have a bit of fun during these holidays. So I hope everyone is having a great time off, trying to relax and recharge before the huge year ahead of us. For myself I have already been quite the busy bee ( not really relaxing ) by exploring the hidden gems that the beautiful Vietnam has to offer, by hitting the incredible ski slopes of Japan !! I love hearing about what anyone has to say about travelling - so please if you ever see me, please give me any recommendations you have for places to go in the world. Can’t wait to meet each and every single one of you !
