My role is all about leading our incredible team, supporting our members, and ensuring QPSA continues to provide exciting events, valuable learning opportunities, and the best experience for pharmacy students. I’m passionate about fostering a strong community, advocating for student voices, and making sure QPSA is a space where everyone feels welcome and supported.
Outside of QPSA, you’ll probably find me balancing my caffeine addiction with sudden detox phases, stress-relieving through online window shopping, or obsessively checking my emails. Secretary - Sukhleen Arora
Hey everyone! I’m Sukhleen, your QPSA Secretary for 2025!
My role involves keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes—managing memberships, taking meeting minutes, liaising with sponsors, and making sure our committee stays on top of all the important details (yes, that means lots of emails and even more spreadsheets!). I love being part of a team that’s dedicated to creating amazing experiences for pharmacy students, whether it’s planning events, sharing important updates, or making sure QPSA stays organised and efficient.
Beyond my role, you’ll probably find me attempting to go for a run (emphasis on attempting), falling asleep anywhere at any time, or catching multiple buses across Brisbane. Treasurer - Yashi Signhal
Hey everyone! I’m Yashi, your QPSA Treasurer for 2025!
My role is where caffeine meets calculators, and spreadsheets become my new BFFs. As the money maestro of QPSA, I’ll be making sure our finances stay balanced, our events run smoothly, and that we can continue bringing you the best experiences throughout the year. Whether it’s collaborating with new vendors, working with UQ clubs, or making sure we’re financially thriving, I’m beyond excited to help QPSA grow. From Market Day to merch drops, I’ll be behind the scenes making it all happen!
Outside of QPSA, you’ll probably find me thinking about the perfect IG photo, adding just one more thing to my online shopping cart, or accidentally slipping into Hindi mid-conversation. Oh, and if you ever need a fun fact about doxycycline—I’ve memorised its dosage, spectrum of activity, and counselling points so well, I could recite them in my sleep! I feel so lucky to be part of such an amazing team this year, and I can’t wait for everything we have in store. If you see me around, come say hi—I promise I don’t always speak in spreadsheets!
